Our Snowie has been installed as a ‘Horner’

4 Jan 2024 - Hearty congratulations to Alex ‘Snowie’ Snow, our Honorary Secretary, on being sworn in as an Honorary Freeman of the The Worshipful Company of Horners at its annual Christmas celebration in the City of London.

Snowie is the Commanding Officer of the Portsmouth-based P2000 class patrol boat HMS PUNCHER with which the Company has been affiliated since 2017. HMS PUNCHER belongs to the 1st Patrol Boat Squadron (1PBS) and is associated with London University’s URNU (University Royal Naval Unit).

Snowie has kindly offered to host his fellow MCDOA Committee members for a trip on board PUNCHER in January. I am sure all members of our Association will join me in wishing him every success in his future life and naval career.
