I’ve been made aware that the recent MCDOA BBQ invitation may have made its way into a number of people’s junk mail folders. MCDOA Annual Dinner details will follow in due course.
Additionally, the Secretary of the RNCDA has asked me to circulate the social events listed below and reminds us that these are open to ALL divers - not just RNCDA members.

For all serving and former RN Clearance Divers plus guests. The format will be
0800 - Bacon butties tea/coffee
0900 - 9 holes AM
1200 - Lunch
1300 - 18 Holes PM
The overall winner will be decided on the lowest gross score over 27 holes,
There are also prizes for Divisions 1 & 2, Duffer of the Day, and Over 60s. The winners of these prizes will be decided on the highest Stableford score over 27 holes.
The cost for the day is £50 per person for RNCDA members, £55 per person for ALL non-RNCDA members.
Cost of entry for Portsmouth Golf Club members will be £20 per person for RNCDA members and £25 per person for ALL non-RNCDA members.
Entry fees will include all golf play, tea/coffee, and bacon sandwich on arrival, lunch, and an evening buffet/BBQ. Evening buffet/BBQ can be attended by non-golfers, and guest at a cost of £13 per person.

This venue was used last year and has been requested again this year. There will also be a buffet provided so I will need numbers asap please. The RNCDA will cover the cost of the food and Venue. We have provisionally made a booking for 50 places. All Divers and their Partners are invited and welcome to this event you do not have to be a RNCDA member.
I have had a quick look at hotels and there is a Premier Inn not too far from the venue.

The Dinner is Open to all Serving and Retired Royal Naval Divers, Partners, and Guests.
Doors Open at 1830 when you will be greeted with a welcome drink followed by pre-dinner drinks in the bar. You will be asked to take your seats for dinner from 1930. Food WILL be served from 2000.
On completion, there will be a raffle. The night will continue until 0200 with entertainment including a local DJ, a NON-CASH mobile casino and Photo Booth.
Dress: Formal/Association Tie (NO JEANS, T-SHIRTS, OR SHORTS)
Cost: £55 per person for RNCDA Members.
Members are permitted to bring a spouse or one guest at the members rate of £55.
Cost: £60 per person for Non-RNCDA Members.
Menu will include a welcome drink, a three-course meal, half bottle of wine and glass of port.
